Let's Beat Breast Cancer

The first-ever Let's Beat Breast Cancer (LBBC) Kickoff in Rochester, MN, a community event dedicated to empowering individuals with practical tools for breast cancer prevention and recovery, organized by Lotus Health Foundation in partnership with Rochester Clinic and the Breast Cancer Support Network (BCSN).

Part of the national Let's Beat Breast Cancer campaign by the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM), the event features expert talks, survivor stories, educational resources, and community support.

Event schedule:

• 5:00 – 5:45 PM: "Beat the Drum" with local drummers, welcome remarks, survivor testimonials, and resource sharing
• 5:45 – 6:15 PM: Healthy food samples, info booths, and networking
• 6:15 – 7:15 PM: Nutrition and Lifestyle Factors in Breast Cancer Prevention and Survival, recorded presentation by Kristi Funk, MD, with Q&A
• 7:15 – 7:45 PM: Networking and closing remarks
